Together with AMZ Construction, Competitive Contracting & A Plus Plumbing and Gas we’ve been working on bringing new life to the Criterion Hotel in Napier. Originally a plush Spanish Mission-style Hotel, it has been a backpackers for the last few decades and is now being returned to its former glory, with all heritage fabrics (such as fireplaces, lead lights, and doors) being retained to keep with the Art Deco style.
The job involved:
- Full 160A main switchboard upgrade
- 3 distribution boards for power distribution
- Emergency lighting throughout
- Bespoke Art Deco style lighting
- High-end lighting in all rooms
- Cable ladder construction throughout
- Coordinating subcontractors to deliver data, TV, phone and security systems.
